Here’s the thing:
The Lactation Consultant you meet in the hospital is doing INCREDIBLE work — for an entire unit(s) of patients, on a timeline that isn’t hers to control.

You might get 20 minutes. Maybe less. That’s not a knock on them. It’s just the reality of HOSPITAL STAFFING. 😩

Here’s what’s different when you book a prenatal package with me:

We start before baby arrives — not after, when you’re exhausted and troubleshooting for the first time. By the time you’re in the hospital, you already know me. You already have a plan. You’re not meeting a stranger during the hardest week of your life.

When you book, here’s what you’re actually getting:

💗A reserved spot on my calendar — held just for you, so when you’re discharged from the hospital and have a list of questions and not sure if things are going right you AREN’T scrambling to find help.
You’re NOT waiting for a call back or put on a cancellation list.
You already have a plan and an appointment.

💗A prenatal visit is where we talk positioning, latch, what’s normal vs. what’s not, and I get to know your specific goals

💗 You have a direct line to me — not a triage line, not a callback in three days, me. Answering all your questions.

💗 Postpartum visits happen in your home, on your schedule, while you’re still in pajamas.

This isn’t about cramming in one more appointment. It’s about walking into those first newborn days already knowing where you’re headed — not scrambling to figure it out in the dark.

That’s the difference between surviving your feeding journey and actually feeling supported through it.

📍 Spots are limited — I only take on so many prenatal clients each month to make sure everyone gets real, unhurried time with me. 🧡

A 37-week baby may look ready for the outside world…

…but breastfeeding has a funny way of showing us exactly how much development was still happening on the inside.

37 weeks = late pre-term

And when you work with newborn feeding every day, you can often SEE the difference.

Which looks like this:
👀Sleepier feeds
👀Less stamina
👀Weaker suction
👀Less coordinated feeding
👀Difficulty staying latched
👀Feeds that look productive…but aren’t transferring enough milk

So when someone says, “But they’re 37 weeks! They’re basically full term!”

My IBCLC brain is screaming:

“Basically” doesn’t transfer milk. 😵‍💫

A 37-weeker isn’t doing anything wrong. They may simply need more feeding support and a little more time for those skills to mature.

If your early-term baby is struggling at the breast, get feeding support early. Protecting milk supply and making sure baby is transferring well can make a HUGE difference while baby catches up developmentally. ❤️

Sometimes I hear the breastfeeding advice given to moms by healthcare professionals and genuinely wonder…

Did you hear what you just said…..out loud?! 😳😂

And these are just a few examples! 🫠

Here’s the problem: when advice comes from a healthcare professional, parents trust it. They assume it’s evidence-based. And one offhand comment can completely change the course of a breastfeeding journey.

Breastfeeding and lactation are specialized areas of care. Not every healthcare professional receives extensive education in them—and that’s okay.

What’s NOT okay is confidently giving outdated or inaccurate advice that can interfere with milk supply, feeding, or a parent’s confidence.

So if something you’re told about breastfeeding makes you think, “Wait…that doesn’t sound right…”

Ask questions. Get another opinion. And please—talk to an IBCLC. 🙋🏼‍♀️

Because some of the things I hear?

I wish I were making them up. 😂

Babies don’t wait for business hours. And your breastfeeding support shouldn’t either. 🤍

When you book with me prenatally, we start BEFORE baby arrives.

We’ll talk through your goals, your history, what to expect in those first hours after birth, and how to get breastfeeding off to the strongest start possible.

But one of the biggest benefits of booking prenatally?

I’m already part of your team when your baby arrives.

Those first hours and days matter SO much.

Baby is learning how to latch and transfer milk. Your body is receiving the signals that help establish milk supply. Feeding patterns are beginning. And little issues that seem manageable on day one can become much bigger issues by day three or four.

🏥 If you need me in the hospital, I’ll come to you — even if your baby decides to arrive on a weekend or “after hours.”

🏡 Once you’re home, I come to you again so we can assess an actual feeding in your own environment, check latch and milk transfer, weigh baby when appropriate, troubleshoot concerns, and make a plan that works for YOU and your baby.

And because we’ve already met prenatally, we aren’t starting from scratch.

I already know you.
I know your goals.
I know your history.
And you know exactly who to text when you have that “Is this normal?!” moment. 😂

‼️Prenatal lactation care isn’t just about preparing to breastfeed. It’s about having support already in place when you need it most.

Because those first few days are too important to spend wondering if you should just “wait and see.” 🤍

If you’re pregnant and want an IBCLC on your team BEFORE baby arrives, send me a message or book your prenatal visit.

Today is the FINAL DAY to save $100 on my online breastfeeding course! 🎉

You can spend hours scrolling TikTok at 2 a.m. trying to figure out what’s normal… or you can go into those first days already knowing what to expect.

Inside the course, I’m sharing what I’ve spent 15+ years teaching families about breastfeeding—from getting a deep, comfortable latch and building milk supply to pumping, bottles, common challenges, and knowing when something just isn’t quite right.

Because the goal isn’t to know everything before your baby arrives.

It’s to feel prepared enough that when your baby is in your arms, you aren’t starting from zero. 🤍

And right now, you can get that preparation for $100 OFF.

But this is it. The sale ends TONIGHT. ⏰

✨ Your baby’s birthday shouldn’t be the day you start learning how to breastfeed. Prepare now. Thank yourself later. Save $100 today. 🤍

❓Want to know the #1 thing that predicts breastfeeding success? It’s not what you think. 🤔

It’s not willpower.
It’s not “just knowing your body.”
It’s not even the hospital staff who help you in those first few hours.

It’s timing. ⏰
Breastfeeding success isn’t decided in the hospital.

It’s decided weeks before, when you actually have time to learn, ask questions, and build a plan instead of trying to problem-solve while running on no sleep with a hungry newborn.

That’s why I built Abundant Beginnings, my online prenatal breastfeeding education.

When you learn the fundamentals before baby arrives, you’re not just reacting to problems — you’re recognizing them early, knowing what’s normal, and walking into those first few days with a plan instead of panic.

And the numbers back it up: moms who take the course AND have a prenatal visit have a 93% success rate.

Not “figured it out eventually.” Not “survived.” Confident, prepared, and set up for real breastfeeding success.

Knowledge + support = better outcomes for you and your baby. 💚

⏰ Only 2 days left to save $100 on the course. Link in stories.

Here’s something a lot of expecting parents don’t realize: breastfeeding education isn’t just a “nice to have” — it’s a covered medical expense.

Under the Affordable Care Act, most insurance plans are required to cover lactation counseling and education at no cost to you, which means prenatal breastfeeding prep often qualifies right alongside it. And if your plan doesn’t cover my course directly? That’s where your HSA or FSA comes in.

Abundant Beginnings is HSA/FSA eligible, so you can use dollars you’ve already set aside — pre-tax money sitting in your account — to invest in real, expert-led preparation before baby arrives. No new spending. No guilt about “another expense.” Just using a benefit you’re already entitled to, for something that will genuinely change how your feeding journey starts.

Because here’s the truth: the first two weeks of breastfeeding set the tone for everything that follows. Preparing before birth — not scrambling after — is what leads to fewer tears, less pain, and way more confidence.

World Breastfeeding Week may be wrapping up, but the $100 off is still live for a little longer. Use your HSA/FSA card at checkout, or check with your insurance about reimbursement. Either way — this is support you’ve likely already paid for. Might as well use it. 🩷
