Last weekend, Patron Senior Living had the honor of attending the Immigration Graduation Class at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church right here in Omaha — a celebration of resilience, new beginnings, and the incredible diversity that makes our community so special. 🎓
The room was filled with remarkable people from all across Omaha, with roots in Rwanda, Burundi, Haiti, Tanzania, Nigeria, and the DRC. It was a powerful reminder of why community outreach is at the heart of everything we do.
Our CEO & Founder, Haji Salad, had the opportunity to share his personal journey from Africa to Omaha — a story that moved the room and brought our mission to life in a deeply authentic way. Alongside him, our IT Coordinator & Community Outreach, Evras, served as a live interpreter in Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, and French, ensuring every voice in that room was heard and every message was understood.
At Patron Senior Living, we specialize in the Aged and Disabled Medicaid Waiver program in Nebraska and Iowa — helping individuals and families access quality care in the comfort of their own homes. We believe no one should have to navigate a complex system alone, and no one should have to leave home to receive the care they deserve.
We are thrilled to share that the event resulted in 3 qualified referrals — community members who are now on their way to accessing the care and support they need. That is exactly why we show up. 💪
A heartfelt thank you to Jacques Musavyimana for the invitation and to the entire St. Benedict the Moor congregation for the warm welcome. We are looking forward to coming back in June to continue this important conversation. 🙏
