Fight or flight and rest and digest are two sides of the same coin. 🧠⚖️

Fight or flight is your body’s survival mode - if there’s real danger, it kicks in to heighten your senses and reaction time.

But in that state, functions like digestion and recovery slow down because your body is prioritizing immediate response over long-term repair.

On the other side is rest and digest, where your body shifts into recovery mode. This is when digestion, cellular repair, and overall restoration are most active. 🙌

When the body stays stuck in a stressed state too often, it can become harder to fully shift into that restorative mode.

From a chiropractic perspective, I focus on supporting nervous system balance so the body can better adapt between these states. 💪

*REMINDER!* FFC will be CLOSED on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY this week not because we want to - but because we have to and for good reason! The construction team is ready to tear down the construction wall and start finishing the remodel on the main level FINALLY! Wall is coming down, some new walls going up, flooring coming out, and front desk getting moved to its final destination. We will be back on Monday to serve you once again in a more open space but not quite complete but that won’t slow us down on our level of service and care!

We appreciate all of your patience and understanding during this long construction process!
