That NOAH Clinic is proud to share that our team member Auntine MsBeautiful Holland has officially completed my Community Health Worker (CHW) Training Apprenticeship and Placement Program from CPHHE Center for Promoting Health and Health Equity at Creighton University! She has been awarded a Certificate of Completion from the United States Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.

This achievement reflects months of learning, growth, dedication, and hands-on experience serving individuals and families within our community. She is grateful to Creighton University and North Omaha Area Health Clinic for their guidance, support, and commitment to developing Community Health Workers who are passionate about improving health outcomes and connecting people to essential resources.

As a Community Health Worker, she remains committed to advocating for health equity, empowering community members, and helping bridge the gap between healthcare systems and the people they serve.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged her throughout this journey. She looks forward to continuing this work and making a positive impact in our community.

Funeral: Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 11am

The family has requested that those community members who would like to pay respects to Mr. Combs to please attend the wake on Tuesday evening and/or the funeral on Wednesday. All are invited to all services regarding Mr. Combs.

It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that our beloved Founder of the North Omaha Area Health (NOAH) Clinic, Mr. Ira Combs, passed away in his home on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Mr. Combs leaves a legacy of being a trailblazer in the healthcare community and North Omaha community. His vision for having a place where residents have a healthcare home, regardless of one's ability to pay, is why we exist. NOAH is his life's work.

We will inform the community about his home-going celebration as we receive more information.

Please send your condolences and prayers to his family, close friends, and peers.

His legacy lives on through our work and dedication to the community.
