This is amazing, why don't we have more of this already?!

Japanese researchers created plastic that dissolves in water within hours. 🌊

Plastic pollution has become one of the biggest environmental problems facing the planet today. Scientists around the world are searching for new materials that reduce long-term damage to oceans and ecosystems.

Researchers in Japan developed a new type of plastic designed to dissolve in water within hours. Over time, the material breaks down and eventually becomes nutrients for the soil rather than harmful waste.

Many scientists believe innovations like this could transform how products are manufactured in the future. If widely adopted, such materials may help reduce the global plastic pollution crisis.

This is amazing - we need more of this in the world!

France becomes the first country requiring supermarkets to donate unsold food to people in need. 🇫🇷🥖

Every year, enormous amounts of perfectly good food are thrown away while many people struggle to afford meals. France decided to confront that problem directly with a law designed to reduce waste and help those who need support.

The country introduced legislation requiring supermarkets to donate unsold but edible food to charities and food banks instead of throwing it away. Stores that fail to comply can face penalties, encouraging businesses to work closely with organizations that distribute food to people in need.

Supporters believe the policy tackles two major issues at once... food waste and hunger. By redirecting surplus food to communities, France created a model many other countries are now studying as a possible solution.

When Spirit Walked Me Out…

There was a time in my life where everything looked right on paper… but felt completely off in my spirit.

I was young, climbing fast, sitting in a VP role at a big hospital in the South. Good money. Good benefits. The kind of job people congratulate you for.

But behind closed doors? The energy was heavy. The leadership didn’t sit right with me. And the man I worked for… let’s just say my spirit picked up on things my mind tried to overlook.

I remember laying awake at night thinking, “What am I going to do?”
Because walking away didn’t feel safe… but staying felt worse.

So I did the only thing I knew to do.

I prayed.

And one night, I woke up to the calmest presence. It felt like light wrapped around me. And I heard,
“Rest, dear. Everything’s going to be okay.”

And I did. I slept deeper than I had in weeks.

The next morning? Something had shifted.

I didn’t overthink. I didn’t rehearse. I just… went.

Walked into that office with a kind of calm confidence that didn’t feel like it came from me. And before I could even stop myself, everything I had been holding in just poured out of my mouth.

(And I mean everything 😄)

His face? I’ll never forget it.

And just as naturally, I told him I was leaving that day… and that I’d need a severance to carry me for a bit.

And here’s the part…

He gave me exactly what I asked for.

I walked out, got in my car, and just sat there like…
“Okay… that wasn’t just me.”

Because it wasn’t.

That was one of the first times I really understood… we are not out here doing life by ourselves.

When you’re aligned… when you finally listen to that inner knowing instead of fear… something meets you there.

Call it spirit. Call it God. Call it whatever feels true to you.

But there is a support that moves through you… speaks through you… and sometimes even walks you right out of places you’ve outgrown.

And it’s not always loud or dramatic.

Sometimes it sounds like,
“Rest, dear. Everything’s going to be okay.”

And somehow… it is. That’s freedom.

Years ago I had an experience that changed the way I look at alcohol.

I was driving through the downtown square at dusk and stopped at a red light. On the corner there was a busy restaurant and bar. People were gathered outside, laughing and talking, and the sound of voices drifted out into the street.

As I sat there waiting for the light to change, I felt a quiet nudge inside to look up at the top of the two-story building. When I did, I saw something that stopped me in my tracks. There were shadowy figures hovering above the roofline.

I asked inwardly, “What am I being shown?”

The understanding that came to me was that these shadow figures were waiting for people to drink so they could experience the effects of alcohol through them. I was also shown that the more someone numbs themselves, the easier it becomes for energies like that to enter the body and share the experience.

And sometimes, I was told, they don’t just pass through. They can linger, quietly reinforcing the craving so the experience continues.

Now, people will interpret something like this in different ways. Some may see it as literal. Others may see it as symbolic of what happens energetically when we dull our awareness.

For me, the message was simple: mind-altering substances change our state. They soften our boundaries and lower our awareness, and when that happens we may be opening ourselves to a lower vibrational state.

This isn’t about judging anyone’s choices. Many people enjoy a drink socially and move on with their lives. This is simply an experience I had years ago that I felt prompted to share. It may not be the experience or belief of others.

But it did make me more aware that what we consume doesn’t just affect the body. It can affect our clarity, our energy, and the space we carry within ourselves.

Sometimes awareness alone can shift the way we choose to move through the world.

Words carry weight. More than we realize.

When you say, “I’m sorry,” you’re not just offering comfort. You’re making a declaration. You’re literally saying, “I am sorry.” That becomes an identity statement. And our subconscious mind doesn’t always stop to analyze context. It hears what we declare.

Now, sometimes “I’m sorry” is exactly right. If you’ve hurt someone, if you missed the mark, if you need to take ownership, say it plainly. There’s power in clean accountability. No dancing around it. No spiritual bypassing. Just honesty.

But there are other moments when we use “I’m sorry” out of habit. Someone shares a disappointment and we automatically say it. Something goes wrong that had nothing to do with us and we say it. Over time, we can start subtly taking on things that were never ours to carry.

That’s where language can shift.

Instead of making it an identity statement, you might say, “I’m sorry that happened to you.” Or, “Please forgive me.” Or, “May I extend my apologies for…” Those phrases still express remorse or compassion, but they don’t anchor it as who you are. They address the action or the situation, not your identity.

It’s a small difference, but small differences add up.

Language shapes perception. The words we repeat become agreements. If we constantly declare “I’m overwhelmed” or “I’m a mess” or “I’m so bad at this,” those phrases start to settle in. They move from description to identity.

This isn’t about policing every sentence. It’s about awareness. About understanding that words create. They reinforce. They build.

You can be deeply compassionate without absorbing responsibility for everything. You can apologize sincerely without unconsciously labeling yourself as something lesser.

When you realize that, you start choosing your words more carefully. Not from fear. From intention. And that changes more than most people think.
