Hi everyone!
I currently have a few openings for new clients at Root & Bloom Counseling and wanted to share in case you or someone you know has been thinking about starting (or re-starting) therapy.

I work with women navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, and the mental load of everyday life, especially moms who are used to holding everything together, but feel overwhelmed underneath it all. My approach is down-to-earth, relational, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to yourself.

Current availability:
• Tuesday: 4:00pm & 6:00pm (bi-weekly)
• Thursday: 4:00pm (weekly)
• Potential to open additional daytime hours (1:00–3:00pm)

I also offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a feel for whether we’d be a good fit. This call is very laid back, and there is no pressure at all.

🌿 Availability Update | Root & Bloom Counseling 🌿

I currently have a few therapy openings available:

Tuesdays (bi-weekly): 4:00pm, 6:00pm
Wednesdays (weekly): 4:00pm, 5:00pm

I’m also excited to share that I am exploring adding weekly daytime availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays (1:00pm, 2:00pm, & 3:00pm) in the near future!

These openings are a great fit for adults navigating emotional overwhelm, burnout, identity shifts, pregnancy or postpartum transitions, people-pleasing patterns, or those wanting more grounded, values-based support. My work is trauma-informed, client centered, and rooted in ACT, self-compassion, and emotional safety.

If one of these times feels aligned, or if you’d like to be notified when new openings are added, feel free to reach out directly or submit an appointment request at www.rootnbloomcounseling.com 🤍

May today be gentle on your nervous system, soft on your expectations, and spacious enough to breathe.

If this season brings joy, soak it in.

If it brings grief, overwhelm, or complicated feelings, this season is asking for more softness, not fixing.

You are allowed to move slowly.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to feel exactly what you feel.

Wishing you moments of warmth, grounding, and connection today however Christmas looks for you.

Seen. Soft. Still growing. 🎄

🎄Christmas Eve can feel magical…🎄

and tender…
and overstimulating…
and emotional…
sometimes all at once.

If today brings joy and grief, excitement and exhaustion, closeness and the urge to disappear for five minutes, you’re not doing it wrong.

Holidays tend to touch old memories, family dynamics, nervous systems, and expectations all at the same time.

So if you need to move slower tonight, say no to something, step outside for air, or lower the bar a little, consider that part of the celebration too.

Wishing you a Christmas Eve that feels gentle, grounded, and just human enough. 🤍

🌿Overwhelm & The Nervous System🌿

Overwhelm does not mean you are failing.
It means your nervous system has hit capacity.

It can show up as:
Irritability
Crying easily
Shutdown
Overthinking
Panic
Avoidance
Feeling tired but wired

You deserve support.
You deserve rest.
And you deserve compassion for what you have been carrying.

✨Why Transitions Feel So Hard✨

Transitions can feel heavy, even when they’re good.

Your nervous system is wired for predictability, so changes in routine, identity, or expectations can register as stress before your mind catches up.

If you notice anxiety, irritability, big emotions, or a tendency to shut down during transitions, it doesn’t mean you’re dramatic or failing. It means your body is adjusting to something new.

You deserve patience while you find your footing.

You deserve support while your system learns it’s safe again.

🌿Therapy With Me🌿

Therapy with me is not about perfection.

It is not about being fixed. It is not about being judged or analyzed from a distance.

It is a space where you can talk honestly, feel deeply, understand your patterns, and learn to regulate your body and emotions.

It is relational, grounding, and emotionally focused.

You get to be human here.

If you have been wanting a talk based, trauma informed therapist, I am here.

A gentle reminder for the part of you that learned to survive before it ever felt safe.

Your reactions aren’t random.
Your overwhelm isn’t a flaw.
And your big feelings aren’t “too much.”

So often, what shows up in adulthood is a younger part of us asking for something it didn’t get back then: safety, rest, comfort, being taken seriously, being heard.

Healing doesn’t mean digging everything up all at once. It starts smaller than that.
Noticing. Pausing. Responding with a little more softness than you were taught.

You don’t have to reparent perfectly.
You just have to show up differently than before.
That’s enough to begin.

🌿 If you’ve been looking for a space where overwhelm is understood…

🌿 Where trauma patterns make sense…

🌿 Where your emotional intensity isn’t “too much”…

🌿 And where motherhood and family dynamics are held with care…

You’re in the right place.

This is the kind of work I love.
Supporting people through the heavy things, helping them feel steady in their bodies again, making room for softness, clarity, and breath.

You deserve support that feels connecting and grounding.

Whether that support is here, in your community, or in a relationship that finally feels safe.

You are worthy and deserving of this.
