🚨JUST NOW: Absolutely stunning admission on the Senate floor — Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) revealed that Democrats knew their shutdown strategy would hurt American families — and they went along with it anyway. 😳

Durbin confessed:

“Many of my friends are unhappy. They think we should have kept our government closed indefinitely to protest the policies of the Trump administration.

I share their opinions of this administration but cannot accept a strategy which wages political battle at the expense of my neighbor’s paycheck or the food for his children.”

Translation: Democrats knew their stunt was starving families and putting children at risk — and did it anyway for politics.

He went on to confirm that Republican Leader John Thune offered a bipartisan path forward to reopen the government, fund SNAP and WIC, and restore pay for federal workers — and that Democrats finally caved after realizing the damage they caused.

🔥 Brutal moment for the Democrat Party. Even their own leadership just admitted they were willing to hurt Americans to score political points.
