Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services is an outpatient clinic offering occupational, physical, and speech therapy. Private pay is accepted at this clinic.

Our Learning Center provides dyslexia and reading intervention, as well as advocacy services for students. Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services, LLC is a therapist-owned private practice with two locations, Oneonta and Rainbow City AL. Our practices are dedicated to the well-being of children of all ages by helping each of them build the skills they need for success. We are a team of highly qualifi

ed, state licensed occupational, speech, and physical therapists. Our clinic is capable of offering services such as Handwriting Without Tears, feeding therapy, and yoga for kids. The mission of Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services is to provide quality occupational and speech therapy to children with special needs. We promote independence and function in activities of daily living and communication through the use of therapeutic intervention. If you have concerns about your child’s development, discuss with your doctor and request a prescription for an occupational or speech therapy evaluation. Medicaid and private insurance may cover occupational therapy.

What if therapy looked a little more like magic? ✨

A collaboration between UAB Arts in Medicine and the UAB Department of Occupational Therapy, OT Magic Camp gives children with disabilities the chance to learn real magic tricks while building confidence, creativity, social skills, and more along the way. The camp is led by our occupational therapy students, who work one-on-one with campers throughout the month before the experience wraps up with a final magic show for family and friends.

Magic Camp is free and open to children ages 9–18 with disabilities.

🎩🐰 SEVENTH ANNUAL Magic Camp 🎩🐰

UAB's OT Department is conducting ONE VIRTUAL CAMP for the dates of June 1, 2026, to June 26, 2026, and this is FREE and open to children/adolescents ages 9-18 with a disability.

Each child/adolescent (camper) will be partnered with 1-2 entry-level doctoral occupational therapy students and will meet 2-3 times a week to learn magic tricks. At the end of the Magic Camp experience, each camper will record their favorite magic trick from camp to share with all the other campers, their family, and their friends. Please see the attached flyer and the information below for more information.
