There’s something about game day that people look forward to all week. It's about wearing your team colors, gathering around the TV, enjoying game-day snacks, and cheering right alongside fellow fans.

For many of our residents, football season also brings back memories of watching the game with their children and grandchildren, making traditions that still mean so much today.

Our theme is Celebrating Our Seniors, with Grandparents Day and National Assisted Living Week giving us even more reason to celebrate the people at the heart of our communities. 💚

Morning Pointe in Motion is headed (virtually) to Munich, Germany, for its famous pretzels and Oktoberfest fare. Football season is back, too! We’ll also recognize Housekeeping Week while pausing for important observances, including 9/11, World Alzheimer’s Day, and Falls Prevention Awareness Day.

🦋💖 For Carol, this wasn’t just a stop to see a mural.

Our residents recently visited the Dolly Parton mural, but Carol brought a connection to Dolly that made the outing especially meaningful. The two grew up in the same hometown, attended school together for a time, and even played sports together.

As the group took in the mural, Carol shared stories from those early days with her fellow residents, giving everyone a glimpse of Dolly before the world knew her as the Queen of Country Music.

What a special perspective to have along for the ride. 💛
