Mr. Jerry's son surprised him with custom bingo chips featuring Jerry's name on one side and his photo on the other. They were an instant hit, and they definitely made bingo a little more personal!

🌅🎨 An activity room full of artists makes for a wonderful afternoon.

Darcie returned to lead another guided painting class, where our residents created beautiful beach sunset scenes. It was also Donna's move-in day, and she jumped right in for her very first activity, sharing that she had never painted before! The afternoon became even more special when Miss Betty's great-grandchildren joined in, adding another generation of artists to the room.

✈️💙 Some stories deserve to be shared in person.

We were honored to welcome the Experimental Aircraft Association EAA of Chattanooga as they gathered in our community to hear 96-year-old Marine pilot Pat Crowe share stories from his aviation adventures in the 1950s. Residents also enjoyed seeing a radio-controlled replica of one of the aircraft Pat once flew, making history come to life in a special way.

The afternoon ended with an unexpected reunion when Pat and resident Barbara recognized one another from their childhoods in Chattanooga. Their families had lived across the street from each other, and they enjoyed reminiscing together after all these years.

A special thank you to Heath and the EAA of Chattanooga for choosing our community to host this memorable event, and to our dining team for preparing homemade pizzas for everyone to enjoy!
