💥 Migraine Relief May Be Closer Than You Think 💥

If chronic migraines are disrupting your life, VYEPTI® may be an option worth discussing with your healthcare provider.

VYEPTI is a prescription medication designed to help prevent migraines before they start. Unlike medications taken daily, VYEPTI is administered through an IV infusion just once every 3 months, making it a convenient option for many patients.

At Urgent Care On The Go, we can administer your prescribed VYEPTI infusion in the comfort of our beautiful Wellness Center or bring the treatment directly to your home for added convenience.

✔ IV Infusion Every 3 Months
✔ Comfortable, Professional Administration
✔ In-Clinic or In-Home Options Available
✔ Personalized Care You Can Trust

If you’re struggling with frequent migraines, talk with your doctor to see if VYEPTI is right for you. Once prescribed, our team is here to make receiving your treatment as easy and convenient as possible.

📞 Call today to learn more or schedule your infusion appointment.

🚑 Things Paramedics See Too Often…

People having a stroke and convincing themselves it’ll go away.

“It’s probably stress.”

“I just need a nap.”

“My arm must’ve fallen asleep.”

“It’s not that bad.”

Unfortunately, these are things we hear all the time.

A stroke is a medical emergency, and every minute matters. The longer a stroke goes untreated, the greater the risk of permanent brain damage and disability.

⚠️ Know the signs. Remember: BE FAST

🧠 Balance — Sudden loss of balance or coordination
👀 Eyes — Sudden vision changes or loss of vision
🙂 Face — Facial drooping or uneven smile
💪 Arm — Weakness or numbness, especially on one side
🗣️ Speech — Slurred speech or difficulty speaking
⏰ Time — Time to call 911 immediately

One of the scariest things about strokes is that symptoms can come on suddenly and sometimes seem mild at first.

A little facial droop.
A little weakness.
A little confusion.

But strokes don’t wait. And neither should you.

As paramedics, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly a situation can change—and how much difference early treatment can make.

❤️ If something feels wrong, don’t try to “tough it out.”
❤️ Don’t wait to see if it gets better.
❤️ Don’t drive yourself.

Call 911.

🚨 The difference between a good outcome and a life-changing disability can be measured in minutes. Don’t gamble with those minutes.

🏥 Helping Facilities Keep Residents Safe, Healthy, and at Home

At Urgent Care On The Go, we partner with assisted living facilities, skilled nursing communities, and residential care homes to provide timely medical services that help residents avoid unnecessary emergency room visits and hospital admissions.

Our goal is simple: deliver high-quality care where residents are most comfortable—right in their facility.

✅ On-site medical evaluations✅ Lab draws and diagnostic testing✅ IV rehydration therapy for dehydration and illness recovery✅ IV antibiotic administration for qualifying infections✅ Urgent assessments for changes in condition✅ Coordination with facility staff, families, and providers

Many common issues that once required a trip to the emergency department can often be addressed safely on-site with prompt intervention and close monitoring.

When residents receive care quickly, facilities benefit from reduced disruptions, families gain peace of mind, and residents can remain in the familiar environment they call home.

Our experienced medical team is committed to supporting facility staff and providing responsive care when it matters most.

❤️ Keeping residents safe.❤️ Supporting facility teams.❤️ Helping patients stay where they are most comfortable.

If your facility is looking for ways to enhance resident care while reducing unnecessary hospital transfers, we'd love to connect.

😴 Rest Isn’t Lazy—It’s Medicine

In a world that glorifies being busy, it’s easy to forget that rest is one of the most powerful things you can do for your health.

When you sleep and rest, your body is hard at work:

🧠 Your brain resets and processes information
❤️ Your heart and blood vessels recover
🦠 Your immune system strengthens
💪 Your muscles repair and rebuild
⚖️ Hormones that regulate appetite, stress, and metabolism rebalance
😊 Your mood and mental health improve

Lack of rest can contribute to:
❌ Increased illness
❌ Fatigue and low energy
❌ Difficulty concentrating
❌ Irritability and mood changes
❌ Elevated blood pressure
❌ Increased risk of injury

If you’ve been feeling run down, exhausted, or just “not yourself,” your body may be asking for more than another cup of coffee—it may be asking for rest.

✨ Give yourself permission to slow down.
✨ Prioritize sleep.
✨ Listen to what your body is telling you.

Your health depends on it.

🌸 🌸 LADIES!! 🌸🌸

🚑 Things Paramedics See Too Often…

Women having heart attacks and convincing themselves it’s “just a stomach bug.”

It’s something we see more often than most people realize.

Many women don’t experience the classic Hollywood-style heart attack symptoms. Instead, they may have:

⚠️ Nausea or vomiting
⚠️ Indigestion or heartburn
⚠️ Upper back, neck, jaw, or shoulder pain
⚠️ Unusual fatigue
⚠️ Shortness of breath
⚠️ Dizziness or cold sweats
⚠️ A feeling that something just isn’t right

And because the symptoms can be subtle, many women brush them off as stress, anxiety, exhaustion, or a stomach issue.

As a paramedic, I’ve seen patients wait hours—or even days—to seek help because they didn’t think it could be their heart.

Please hear me when I say this:

❤️ You are not overreacting.
❤️ You are not being dramatic.
❤️ If something feels wrong, get checked.

When it comes to a heart attack, time matters. The sooner treatment begins, the better the outcome.

Trust your instincts. Listen to your body. And don’t ignore symptoms just because they don’t look the way you expected them to.

☀️ Summer Fun Starts with Summer Safety! 🌴😎

Whether you’re hitting the beach, traveling, working outdoors, or chasing kids around all summer, a few simple precautions can help keep you healthy and out of the ER.

✅ Stay Hydrated – Don’t wait until you’re thirsty. Drink water regularly, especially in the Louisiana heat.

✅ Know the Signs of Heat Illness – Dizziness, headache, nausea, excessive sweating, muscle cramps, and fatigue can be early warning signs of heat exhaustion.

✅ Protect Your Skin – Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming or sweating.

✅ Practice Water Safety – Never leave children unattended near water, and always wear a life jacket when appropriate.

✅ Keep Food Safe – Summer cookouts are great, but food left out too long can lead to foodborne illness. Keep cold foods cold and hot foods hot.

✅ Travel Smart – Pack medications, a basic first-aid kit, and know where to seek medical care if needed while away from home.

🚨 Seek medical attention immediately for confusion, loss of consciousness, difficulty breathing, chest pain, or signs of heat stroke.

Your health shouldn’t take a vacation this summer! Whether you need treatment for minor illnesses, injuries, dehydration, or heat-related concerns, Urgent Care on the Go is here to help—with convenient mobile visits and walk-in care available.
