We’re excited to welcome Juli to Casa Feliz Counseling this summer as a new Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern!

Juli is a graduate of Rollins College with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and brings experience from both residential treatment and college counseling settings. They are passionate about supporting clients through life and identity transitions and especially enjoy working with immigrants and first-generation Americans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relational trauma.

Juli’s counseling style is warm, collaborative, and deeply thoughtful. Drawing from CBT, existential, and psychodynamic approaches, they help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create more meaningful and connected lives.

We are so happy to have Juli joining the Casa Feliz team and can’t wait for our clients and families to get to know them!

Feeling so proud of our team right now.

Huge shoutout to Jessica Chavis and Mashal Dhanani of Casa Feliz Counseling for delivering an absolutely stellar workshop at the FMHCA Conference 2026 on the thoughtful, ethical, and creative use of AI in therapy—for both clients and clinicians.

They explored how AI can:
• support clinical insight without replacing the human relationship
• enhance reflection, psychoeducation, and skill-building for clients
• help clinicians work smarter while staying grounded in ethics and best practices

The room was engaged, curious, and asking great questions—always the sign of a meaningful conversation. We’re proud to be a practice that stays curious, forward-thinking, and deeply committed to responsible care as the field evolves.
