I called her my little spicy tamale because whenever I felt her in her mama’s belly, she was kicking in every direction. Now she’s still spicy, but with me, she’s just sweet. She lets me hold her, and she gets to be my mini midwife assistant now during her little sister’s prenatal visits. She helps me with blood pressure, belly checks, charting and in return, I teach her how to do a mirror selfie🪞I love my job and all my little midwifery babies.🤎🌿

Please help me welcome Honey Midwifery’s very first baby born at our new birth center! 🍯✨

Our sweet boy Levi Ezekiel, weighing a perfect 8lbs 0oz, arrived this weekend after his mother labored for 24 hours and calmly birthed him like a pro. 💛

This wonderful family started out as students in my birthing class, and getting to walk alongside them from the classroom to the delivery space was a dream.

Levi’s dad made sure to come prepared with celebratory pot pies & silverware for everyone haha

And as soon as Levi hugged his dad, he let out a total poo-tastraphe all over his dad’s hands, fingers and legs. Blurry photo bc I was laughing so hard (so were mom & dad).

Welcome to the world, little one. You’ve already made history here! Your parents and midwife are so proud of you! 🤎✨ And we LOVE you! 🥰

My love bugs Graduated their Natural Birthing course 🧑‍🎓 📚 They studied for months with me preparing for their natural births and we have students delivering in hospitals, home birth or at my birthing center. They all learn the same - empowering themselves and their birth 🤎🌿✨ Love you all to the moon. Thank you for choosing me as your teacher!

Happy Birthday my little nugget 🌿 Happy Earth Day, Happy 13th 🩵 I’m so happy for this day because it’s the day, I got you. The day all those moments of dreaming of you, came to life. I wanted you even before I knew you and in a way you did too, because we choose our parents and you picked me. 💐 When you were born, you immediately cried and cried and I felt relief knowing you are strong. When you faced me for the first time you stopped crying and blinked and stared at me and it seemed like you were thinking, “hey, I know you”. I was the first to hug you and say I love you, I love you, I love you. Your first chapter of baby and little boy is complete and now you are on to your next chapter of becoming a young man. One of the most important chapters for the rest of them 🤍. And I may still call you little nugget for a while longer because that’s all I know. Happiest of birthday Grant, the world is so much happier and loved with you here. I love you, I love you, I love you!
