📞 “The specialist never called to schedule.”
We’ve heard these concerns a few times and there may be a simple reason: your phone could be filtering the call before it ever reaches you.
You may be missing important calls about appointments, test results, referrals, prescription questions, follow-ups, or other time-sensitive information - and you might not even realize it.
Many smartphones have settings that automatically silence, screen, or send calls from unknown or unsaved numbers to spam/junk. If your healthcare provider or a specialist office is calling from a number that isn’t saved in your contacts, your phone may decide it’s unwanted before you ever have a chance to answer.
Before you miss an important call, be sure to check your phone settings!
✅ Make sure calls from unknown numbers aren’t being automatically silenced or blocked.
✅ Check your Spam/Junk/Blocked Calls folder.
✅ If you’re expecting a call, keep an eye on your phone — even if you don’t recognize the number.
