Love is in the air at Moosehaven! ❤️ Resident Don Bell married his beloved Barbara, in a beautiful ceremony conducted by Moosehaven's Executive Director, Helen Taylor in our campus chapel. Surrounded by friends, fellow residents, and staff, Don and Barbara’s special day was filled with love, joy, and heartfelt moments. It was a beautiful reminder that it’s never too late to celebrate love and begin a new chapter. Congratulations, Don and Barbara! 🌟 Meet Our Executive Team: Leadership Feature Friday 🌟

Meet Marina Mathews!

Marina serves as Director of Communications & Events at Moosehaven. A lifelong resident of Clay County, Florida, Marina has dedicated more than 19 years to advancing Moosehaven’s mission. Throughout her career, she has also served as Director of Traditional Admissions at Moosehaven and Director of Marketing at Brandon Place.

Today, Marina oversees Moosehaven’s website and social media presence, leads the Brandon Place Admissions & Resident Services Department, and coordinates signature Heart of the Community events including the American Pride Fourth of July celebration, the Moosehaven Golf Invitational, and the Moosehaven Chili Cook-Off.

When she isn’t working, Marina can often be found at the beach - if you know, you know! She is a graduate of the University of Florida and proudly supports Gator Football! She also treasures time with her two children and four precious granddaughters. With her entire family living nearby, family time always has a special place on her calendar.

🎤🌟 Moosehaven’s Got Talent! 🌟🎤

What a show! Our residents and staff took the stage for an afternoon filled with music, laughter, creativity, and plenty of Moosehaven talent!

🏅 Moosehaven’s Senior Olympics were a gold-medal success! Thirty women and 22 men competed in events ranging from co****le and bowling to golf, darts, and basketball. A special shoutout to 104-year-old Glenna, who scored the only 'hole-in-one' of the day! 🎉 The week wrapped up with closing ceremonies, medal presentations, plenty of smiles, and lots of Olympic spirit. We’re kicking off a series recognizing the dedicated leaders who help make Moosehaven such a special place!

Meet Paul, Executive Team Member & Director of Facilities at Moosehaven. With 37 years of healthcare maintenance and construction experience and 8 years leading Moosehaven’s Facilities Team, Paul brings expertise, dedication, and a passion for solving problems. A journeyman plumber, lifelong mechanic, and graduate in Construction Management, Paul’s leadership has helped Moosehaven’s Facilities Team achieve citation-free results in the last three CMS/AHCA life safety surveys. 👏

When he’s not keeping Moosehaven running smoothly, Paul enjoys time with family and friends, being on the water or in the woods, relaxing by the pool, and building or driving anything fast! 🏎️

Throwback Thursday!
A special throwback to 1966 featuring Dr. Hinson Stephens and a nurse caring for residents at Moosehaven's on-site medical center. This photo reflects a legacy of compassion and care that continues today. Dr. Michael Stephens proudly carries on the commitment his father began, serving as Moosehaven's Medical Director. Together, the Stephens family has dedicated more than 60 years to caring for the Moosehaven community.
