Our Eid celebration in Sacramento was a success! 🌙✨

Beyond the festivities and community connection, we had meaningful conversations about mental health across different stages of life. Together, we explored how mental health symptoms may present among:

• Children (ages 5–12)
• Teens and young adults (ages 13–20)
• Adults (ages 20+)

These discussions helped increase awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversations about mental well-being within our communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this event both educational and memorable. Here are some highlights from the day! đź’™

We wanted to share a little about Sweeta and the approach she brings into the therapy space! Our goal is to create an environment where clients feel supported, respected, and safe to show up as themselves.

Sometimes survival mode becomes so familiar that we don’t even realize we’re stuck in it.
Constantly pushing through, ignoring exhaustion, staying busy, or feeling unable to fully rest can all be signs that your mind and body have been carrying too much for too long.
Survival mode is not weakness. It’s a response to stress, overwhelm, and trying to cope the best you can.
And healing often begins with noticing it.
💛 You deserve support, rest, and moments of peace — not just survival.
📌 Save this for the days you need the reminder.

Progress in therapy doesn’t always look like huge breakthroughs or constant happiness.
Sometimes it looks like:
noticing your emotions sooner
setting healthier boundaries
speaking to yourself more gently
resting before burnout
allowing yourself to ask for support
Healing is rarely linear, and small changes still matter.
đź’› Even the progress nobody else can see is still progress.
📌 Save this for the days you feel like you’re “not doing enough.”

This recognition, presented in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, highlights the urgent need to reduce stigma, increase access to care, and ensure services are equitable and accessible for all. With mental health challenges affecting millions and stigma still a barrier, this work is more important than ever. Thank you for your continuous support 🫶🏼
