Pain on top of your shoulder might be due to the ACJoint. When it’s injured the pain is on top of the shoulder and it can mimic neck pain.

PRP isn’t just PRP.

Research has shown that platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can help treat soft tissue injuries and arthritis, especially knee arthritis. But outcomes depend on more than simply drawing blood and spinning it down.

Platelet concentration matters. Platelet health matters. And just as importantly, the PRP must be delivered precisely to the correct location.

Studies have also shown that in certain shoulder conditions, PRP may provide better long-term results than steroid injections. In rotator cuff surgery, PRP has been shown to improve tendon healing in selected patients.

The key takeaway: not all PRP is created equal. The quality of the PRP and the accuracy of the injection both matter.

I thought I had him for a second…
Met an absolute powerhouse at the Enhanced Games in Las Vegas — Mitchell Hooper , one of the strongest men in the world and one of the most dominant athletes in modern strongman history.

They cal Mitchell “The Moose” because he’s Canadian, massive in size, incredibly powerful, and surprisingly athletic for a man of his stature — basically built like a moose.

We had a chance to talk about his upcoming head-to-head showdown with fellow strongman legend Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson — a battle of two incredible athletes pushing the limits of human strength.

The are definitely getting people talking… not just about performance enhancement, but about the future of human optimization, recovery, longevity, and what may be possible when science and athletics intersect.

Strength at the highest level is something else to witness in person.

Would you consider getting Enhanced?

Treat the patient — not just the MRI report.

Great post by Patrick Denard discussing two of the most common incidental findings seen on shoulder MRI.

An MRI report alone does not diagnose shoulder pain. Many “abnormal” findings are incidental and may not actually be the source of symptoms. The key is matching the MRI with a detailed history, physical exam, and sometimes diagnostic injections.

Too often, athletes are told it’s just “tendinitis” or arthritis… but the real issue may be inside the joint.

It shows up in tennis, weight training, volleyball—any sport with repetitive, forceful upper extremity use.

Diagnosis starts with a proper exam—and sometimes a CT scan.
