The fourth trimester doesn’t get nearly enough airtime. Your body is healing, your brain is fried, and the world just kind of... keeps going. It’s messy and isolating and nobody really prepares you for what happens after birth. I wrote about all of it over on Substack.

It’s been 2 years since the last post on my feed. In that time there was a pandemic, I dyed my hair blue and then brown, and my best friend moved across the country but I got to meet her precious new child first.

I found a lone wet kitten at 5am in a bush outside my front door (it was a dream come true). I got a new job that got me onto the Oscars red carpet (the most stress I’ve ever felt). I started working with a personal trainer to get my ass back on track (literally).

I prioritized sleep and I learned how to bake sourdough. I got several plants that I haven’t yet killed. I got a melanoma excised. But best of all, I got married on a day that can only be described as perfect.

Tomorrow I turn 32 and I’ll get to spend the week surrounded by loved ones because spooky season always keeps me busy this time of year. Happy Scorpio season, y’all!
