In 1970, Orange County constructed a nursing home to meet the needs of a growing senior population. The facility continued to grow and currently offers Health and Rehabilitation and Assisted Living. Dogwood Village of Orange County is proud of a “Tradition of Excellence.”

Owned by the County of Orange, operations of the non-profit facility are overseen by the Health Center Commission of Orange C

ounty, a body politic appointed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors. The facility does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability or age in admission, treatment or participation in its programs, services and activities or in employment.

The garden is growing beautifully, and it's exciting to see all the progress each week! 🌿

Earl is officially picking his ripe, red tomatoes as the harvest gets underway! 🍅 As we head into August, the summer heat has been intense, but the garden is still producing, and we're thankful to be enjoying fresh tomatoes straight from the vine. There's nothing quite like watching all of Earl's hard work pay off! ☀️

🌱 Gardening with Earl 🌱

The garden is growing beautifully, and it's exciting to see all the progress each week! 🌿

You can really see how much everything has grown over the last few weeks. We're still waiting for the tomatoes to turn red, but everything else is coming along nicely. The cucumbers have been growing well and are ready to be picked. We're also starting to see the first pumpkin vines taking off, so we'll see what they bring in the weeks ahead! 🥒🍅
