This weekend, our Executive Director, Kristen Murray, had the opportunity to attend the Horse Brain Science clinic with renowned equine neuroscientist Dr. Stephen Peters at Nash Hill Equestrian Center.
Dr. Peters, Psy.D., ABN, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and equine neuroscientist whose work combines neuroscience with a deeper understanding of equine behavior, learning, communication, and welfare.
At Red Barn, we believe continuing education is an essential part of serving our equine partners and our community well. The more we understand about how horses think, learn, communicate, and respond, the better we can support their wellbeing and create meaningful, safe, and effective therapeutic experiences.
Professional growth isn’t just about adding knowledge—it’s about continually evaluating our practices, asking better questions, and striving to do better for the horses and people who depend on us.
