A Little Rock Called Hope

I carry this little rock with me. 💜

When I was in my master’s program becoming a therapist, one of my professors said something I’ve never forgotten:

“The greatest gift we can give our clients is hope.”

Not answers.
Not a perfect solution.
Not a promise that everything will be easy.

Sometimes, just helping someone believe that tomorrow can look a little different than today is enough.

So this little rock comes with me as a reminder—to keep hope close, to give it freely, and to remember that even on the days when we can’t see the way forward, there is still a way forward. 🌸

And yes… apparently therapists carry emotional support rocks too. 😂💜

Hope is a pretty good thing to keep in your pocket. ✨
