Awarded by the Oregon Funeral Directors Association, Dominique was selected by the members who recognize how hard she works to serve families and their loved ones.

We are honored to have been chosen as a Hope Award Winner. The Hope Award is presented to professional partners in the organ donation service area in honor of their partnership and collaboration in honoring the decision to save lives through organ, eye, & tissue donation.

In 2024, Hillside Chapel & Funeral Services became one of the first Donation Champion Funeral Homes in our service area. Donation Champion Funeral Homes receive training on organ, eye & tissue donation, are provided with resources to honor donors and their family members, and work collaboratively with recovery agencies to support the lifesaving and healing donation decision.

The teardrop shape of this award is meant to symbolize the tears of love, of loss, of life renewed and of shared gratitude for everyone’s efforts during this final act of kindness.
