I hosted a webinar! That’s a wrap on “The Labs They’re Not Running (And Why It Matters)” 🎙️

We went deep on the hormone, thyroid, metabolic, cardiovascular, and bone labs that get skipped in perimenopause and menopause care — and exactly what to say to your provider to get them ordered.
If you missed it live (or want to rewatch and take notes), the replay is up now.

→ Link in bio to watch

A few things we covered:
* Why TSH alone doesn’t tell the full thyroid story
* The one metabolic marker I check before anything else
* The cardiovascular labs most doctors never order
* How to catch bone loss before it shows up on a scan
*
Watch when you have 30 minutes to actually sit with it — this one’s worth the notebook.

I’m back!

After an incredible week celebrating our wedding, I’m officially back in the office and excited to be seeing patients again!

Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, well wishes, and patience while I was away. It was a truly special time, and I feel so grateful.

Why choose a concierge hormone & metabolic health clinic? ❤️

The traditional healthcare system is designed to diagnose and treat disease. My goal is to help you optimize your health before chronic disease develops.

Here’s what that looks like:

✨ Longer appointments where you never feel rushed
✨ Time to truly listen to your story and understand the root cause of your symptoms
✨ A proactive approach focused on prevention—not just reacting once something is wrong
✨ Comprehensive lab testing (not just the basic screening labs)
✨ Looking at optimal health, not simply whether your labs fall somewhere within the “normal” range
✨ Early screening for things like osteoporosis, insulin resistance, thyroid disease, and cardiovascular risk
✨ A personalized treatment plan designed specifically for you—not a one-size-fits-all approach

Hormones are only one piece of the puzzle. I also evaluate thyroid health, metabolic health, nutrition, inflammation, cardiovascular risk, bone health, and other factors that influence how you feel today—and your health years from now.

My goal is simple: help you feel your best now while reducing your risk of chronic disease in the future.

If you’ve ever been told “your labs are normal” but you still don’t feel like yourself… come see me!

“There’s nothing we can do. This is just aging.”
She’d been hearing that for months. Hot flashes all day and night. Five hours of sleep. A wedding coming up this week.

There was plenty we could do. We did it in one visit.
Estrogen shortage and all — we found the last box. She started her medication. And I’ll be rooting for her.

If you’ve been told to just grin and bear it — I’m sorry. That’s not modern medicine. That’s just a provider who hasn’t kept up.
You deserve better. Link in bio. 🌿

Brain 🧠 aging is a whole-body process.

And one of the biggest influences on your brain is the signals your muscles send it every single day.

The gap between people who regularly train their muscles—especially their legs—and those who don’t…

Compounds silently over decades.

You don’t need to train like an athlete.

(Unless you’re into that sort of thing.)

You just need to challenge your muscles consistently.

Every squat, step, carry, and lift sends signals that support your brain, your metabolism, your bones, and your long-term independence.

That’s why it’s so important to build a lifelong relationship with strength training.

This is about so much more than “getting in shape.”

You’re investing in the health of your brain 20, 30, and 40 years from now.

GLP-1 medications are often talked about for weight loss… but one of the most fascinating things about them is their anti-inflammatory effects.

Many people notice improvements in:• Joint pain• Brain fog• Energy• Swelling and puffiness• Blood sugar stability• Food noise and cravings• Overall sense of well-being

Why? Because excess insulin resistance and visceral fat are highly inflammatory to the body.

Chronic inflammation doesn’t just affect weight. It can impact:• Hormones• Cardiovascular health• Brain function• Sleep• Gut health• Skin aging• Pain levels• Metabolic health

When GLP-1 medications are used appropriately — alongside adequate protein, resistance training, sleep, stress management, and lifestyle support — they can become a powerful tool to improve metabolic health, not just the number on the scale.

These medications are not magic. But for the right person, they can help create the physiologic environment needed for the body to heal and function better.

The goal should never be “eat less and be smaller.”The goal is improved health, improved body composition, improved inflammation, and improved quality of life.

Testosterone in women is not just about libido.

A recent study looked at women on testosterone therapy and the results were hard to ignore:

✔️ Energy & fatigue improved the most (84% of women)
✔️ Mood improved — depression, irritability, and anhedonia all >65%
✔️ Cognitive function improved — with noticeable gains at 4–6 months
✔️ Quality of life improved in nearly 90% of women

And here’s what’s really interesting…

Women didn’t rank libido as the top benefit.

👀 Energy and mood came first.

We also saw objective biomarker improvements:
• ↑ Total & free testosterone
• ↓ SHBG
• ↓ Triglycerides
• ↑ Hemoglobin

What this means:

Testosterone isn’t just a “sex hormone.”
It’s a metabolic, cognitive, and mood hormone for women.

It plays a role in:

* Energy and drive
* Motivation and resilience
* Muscle and metabolic health
* Brain function and clarity

But here’s the nuance (and where most conversations miss the mark):

Testosterone is not a magic fix.

If your nervous system is dysregulated, your sleep is off, your nutrition is lacking, or your stress is chronically high… you won’t get the full benefit.

💪 You can’t out-hormone a dysregulated system.

The takeaway:

When used appropriately and individualized, testosterone therapy in women can be transformational — far beyond libido.

But the best outcomes happen when it’s part of a bigger strategy:
hormones + metabolism + nervous system + lifestyle.

If you’ve been told “your labs are normal” but you still feel exhausted, unmotivated, and off…
there may be more to the story.
