Our clinics will be closed on Friday, June 19th, 2026 in observance of Juneteenth. We will reopen for normal clinic operations on Monday, June 22nd, 2026.

Juneteenth marks the day that enslaved black Americans in Galveston, Texas were told they were free. This date came 2.5 years after president Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

The Emancipation Proclamation was issued on Jan 1st, 1883. It wasn’t enforced everywhere until federal troops arrived in Texas on June 19th, 1885 and announced that 250,000 enslaved black Americans were finally free.

That’s why Juneteenth is celebrated as our country’s second independence day.

We recognize that systemic barriers, like race, influence the health and safety of those in our communities. On Juneteenth, we honor the bravery & resilience of the African American community. We acknowledge the ongoing fight to create a more safe & just world for all.

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month. Join us in raising awareness about speech, language and hearing disorders while celebrating Neuro’s Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) helping children become confident communicators.

At Neuro, we emphasize the importance of skills children need to express and comprehend communicative messages. Our Speech Therapy providers help children build confidence and essential communication skills using treatment sessions tailored to every child's need. These skills support learning and strengths turning communication into an enjoyable activity for children.

Let’s honor National Speech-Language-Hearing month and celebrate our SLPs making a lifelong impact on kids, families, and our community.
