Too young for traditional myo? Start this at home!
Hi, my name is Emilee and I am a myofunctional therapist and mom of 2 boys, ages 3 and 1. One of the most common questions that I get asked is,
âWhat can I do for my kids under age 4?â
There arenât a lot of people who work with this age, so I decided that I would share some things that I do with my own kids!

â¨Popsicle stick breathingâ¨
1ď¸âŁ Have your child hold a Popsicle stick between relaxed lips. They should not be biting it.
2ď¸âŁ Find a quiet activity like reading, or playing with blocks or toys.
3ď¸âŁ Have them hold the popsicle stick while they are playing for as long as they will. (Weâre going for fun, not stressful!)
4ď¸âŁ Practice as often as you like.
Make it fun!
â¨Set a timer and have them compete with themselves on how long they can hold it.
â¨Do it with them!
â¨Get everyone involved and make it a whole family competition.
