Luke A. Horton, MD is a fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon and dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, reconstructive surgery, and medical dermatology. He completed his fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina after serving as Chief Resident of Surgery and Research during his dermatology residency at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Horton earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Horton is an active researcher with numerous peer-reviewed publications and national presentations in Mohs surgery, skin cancer, and dermatologic surgery. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Outside the office, Dr. Horton is an avid basketball player and former NCAA baseball player, a national parks enthusiast (Grand Teton is a favorite), and a devoted reader of epic fantasy and science fiction.
