Good care is not about doing everything for someone. Sometimes it is about knowing when to step forward and when to step back. A senior may need help with one part of the day while still handling many things independently. As circumstances change, that balance can shift. A thoughtful care provider service leaves room for those changes.
Think of care as a moving target
Instead of asking, “How much care does this person need?” it can be more useful to ask, “Where are they having difficulty right now?”

That could mean:

Getting ready in the morning
Preparing a proper meal
Remembering a medication schedule

Our new Recruitment Coordinator, Venise, has 15 years of customer service experience, including 10 years in the optometry field training new staff and stepping into management roles. Her passion for helping others initially led her to pursue a career as a Law Enforcement Officer in Vero Beach. Though short-lived, Venise pursued a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology and continues her commitment to helping others in a different way. After a loved one was diagnosed with dementia in 2024, she assisted with care and searched for care providers. This experience led her to work at Aqua Home Care, continuing to find the best care providers for families like hers.

Originally from New York, Venise has been in Florida for 20 years yet still adjusting. She found her community and chosen family in the Orlando area. She enjoys taking her two fur-babies, Kodi and Aspyn—who are both very energetic Catahoula Leopard Curs—to dog parks.
