Today’s ice cream stop was about more than just a sweet treat! Our clients practiced important social and independent living skills by placing their own orders, communicating what they wanted, and interacting with others in the community.

Everyday moments like these create opportunities to build confidence, communication, independence, and self-advocacy—and having ice cream at the end makes practicing even sweeter! 🍨😊

During our SeaWorld outing, New Hope Housing staff stayed attentive to residents’ needs while providing guidance and supervision throughout the experience.
