Merci to everyone who joined us for a Parisian-inspired evening of wellness. 🌸

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Orlando Health South Lake Hospital welcomed our community for a night focused on early detection. Guests could get a mammogram screening, meet our doctors, tour our Breast Imaging Center and learn about the growing cancer care at Orlando Health Cancer Institute – Clermont. 🩺

Then came the fun: mocktails and charcuterie, chair massages, an essential oils station and DIY flower and charm bars. 💐

Thank you to our team members who made the evening possible. When breast cancer is caught early, there may be more treatment options, so talk to your doctor about when to start screening. 🧡

What an inspiring afternoon of connection, learning and support! 🧡

The Breast Decisions event brought together patients, survivors, caregivers and our Orlando Health experts for meaningful conversations about breast health, cancer care, survivorship and wellness.

From the powerful stories shared by our patients to the insights from our speakers, every moment was a reminder of the strength of this community and the power of coming together to support one another.

Dr. Catherine Kasper, breast imaging radiologist for Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital, takes us through some common concerns women have around getting a mammogram. Early detection is always beneficial in finding abnormalities before they develop into larger issues. 💗

This we want to recognize the resilience and strength of our breast cancer survivors. 💗

Theresa discovered she had stage 2 breast cancer following her annual mammogram. Also a team member at Orlando Health, Theresa was given new perspective while treated at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, receiving support throughout her entire journey.
