Today is World Mental Health Day, an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge stigma and recognize the importance of listening to those who know mental health challenges firsthand.

This year’s theme, “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” is a reminder that lived experience matters. When we listen to the voices of people who have navigated mental health challenges, we can better understand their needs and work toward care that is more compassionate and responsive.

At The Recovery Village, we’re committed to providing evidence-based behavioral healthcare that recognizes each person as an individual — with their own experiences, challenges and goals for healing.
Today and every day, let’s keep listening, learning and creating space for honest conversations about mental health.

August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day - a time to honor the lives lost to overdose, support the loved ones they leave behind, and raise awareness about the life-saving power of prevention, education and treatment.

Overdose is preventable. Through compassionate care, evidence-based treatment, and reducing stigma, we can save lives and offer hope to those who are struggling.
Today, we remember. We advocate. We act.

May is !

Mental Health America founded Mental Health Awareness Month in 1949 and has led the effort every May to promote mental wellness nationwide. We join them this month and every month to help promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma and help others live happier, healthier lives.

This year’s theme — More Good Days, Together — encourages us all to reflect on what a “good” day looks like, both for ourselves, and for our communities. Together, we can use that insight to connect people to the right support at the right time, and shape advocacy, education, and community engagement to make better mental health possible for all.

Let’s have more good days, together.
