𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀.

Many people find themselves carrying grief from multiple directions at once. The death of a loved one, a broken relationship, health challenges, financial setbacks, disappointments, and unfulfilled dreams can accumulate until the weight feels overwhelming.

When losses pile up faster than we can process them, the effects often show up physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Fatigue, anxiety, numbness, confusion, and even questions about God’s presence can become part of the journey.

In this presentation, Karen Nicola will help attendees understand the impact of cumulative grief and offer practical tools for grieving well. Most importantly, she will explore a truth many Christians need to hear: grief is not a lack of faith. God understands the pain of this world and meets us with compassion in our suffering.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻:
• Why multiple losses can feel overwhelming
• Common myths Christians believe about grief
• How grief impacts our relationship with God
• Practical ways to grieve in healthy, healing ways
• Why hope and sorrow can coexist

Karen Nicola is a grief educator, coach, and founder of Comfort for the Day. She has dedicated her work to helping grieving people find practical support, emotional understanding, and spiritual hope during life’s most difficult seasons.

Her passion for grief ministry was shaped through personal experience. Following the death of her son, Karen discovered firsthand that God does not abandon us in grief - He walks with us through it. That journey transformed her life and led her to come alongside others carrying their own losses.

Today, Karen equips individuals with practical tools for navigating grief while learning to trust God’s healing presence, combining compassionate understanding, biblical hope, and real-world guidance for the road ahead.

𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗔 𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧…

The word narcissist is everywhere right now. It's used to describe difficult partners, toxic bosses, manipulative family members, and broken leaders. And while much of that conversation is genuinely helpful, something important often gets left out.

What if understanding selfishness only in others keeps us from experiencing the kind of transformation that actually heals relationships?

𝗜𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, “𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁”, Dr. Jennifer Jill Schwirzer takes an honest and refreshing look at narcissism through the lens of Scripture. Rather than simply helping us identify selfish behavior in the people around us, she'll invite us to examine the self-protective patterns that quietly take root in all of us.

Drawing from biblical stories of real people who encountered grace and came out different on the other side, this conversation offers something the culture rarely does: genuine hope that people can change, including ourselves.

Comment DATING and we'll send you the details.

Finding someone who shares your faith and your values isn't always easy.

Dating apps are frustrating. Long-distance connections are hard to sustain. And if your church doesn't have a large singles community, meeting someone can feel close to impossible.

Try This at Home: Dating is built for this exact problem.

This weekend event brings Adventist singles from across the country together to build deeper honest conversations about what it actually takes to build a relationship grounded in faith.

Featuring two speakers who don't sugarcoat it:

🎤 David Asscherick
🎤 Jennifer Jill Schwirzer

What's waiting for you:

✅ Inspiring presentations about love, commitment, and readiness
✅ Workshops where you do real work, not just listen
✅ Social time designed for connection
✅ A community of people who take their faith and their relationships seriously

Will you meet your future spouse? We hope so!

But you definitely won't meet them if you stay home.

Early registration closes June 28 — save $50 if you move now.
