From forceps and snares to ERCP and EUS. Nearly 20 years of progress.

At Center for Digestive Health, we are proud to recognize Dr. Samuel Giday and his nearly two decades of commitment to advancing gastroenterology and endoscopic care in Ethiopia.

Dr. Giday recently returned from another week in Addis Ababa, continuing work that began almost 20 years ago with basic endoscopy supplies. Today, that collaboration has expanded to advanced therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS.

Over the years, Dr. Giday and his colleagues have helped establish a complete Olympus endoscopy unit at Wolkite Referral Hospital, donated additional endoscopy equipment to Ethiopian institutions, and provided advanced scopes and therapeutic tools.

But the greatest investment has been in people.

This progress has been built alongside dedicated Ethiopian physicians and colleagues.
