Not all low back pain comes from a herniated disc.
The sacroiliac (SI) joint is a common but often overlooked source of chronic low back and buttock pain.
When conservative treatments—including physical therapy, medications, injections, and radiofrequency ablation—are no longer effective, some carefully selected patients may benefit from minimally invasive SI joint fusion.
Yesterday I performed a left SI joint fusion using the iFuse IntraX system through a single ~3 mm incision under fluoroscopic guidance.
Small incision. Precise implant placement. Thoughtful patient selection.
The right procedure starts with the right diagnosis.
