For years, our teams have worked at the intersection of medicine and international development to deliver sight-restoring care and build sustainable infrastructure in Honduras.
Right now, we are at a beautiful turning point. Over the next five years, we are intentionally shifting toward full Honduran self-sufficiency, placing long-term leadership and ownership completely in local hands.
To help fund and secure this transition, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, senior fundraising professional to join us as a Fractional Director of Development. This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor role requiring about 10 to 25 hours per week.
Here is what the role involves:
🔹 Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with occasional travel.
🔹 Primary Focus: Helping us close the remaining $800K on our active capital campaign.
🔹 Core Strategy: Designing and growing a diversified annual giving program to sustain our operations long-term.
🔹 Collaboration: Partnering closely with both our U.S. and Honduran boards to deepen donor relationships.
