I’ve wanted to share more of our loss story and the heart behind what I do, especially during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. 🤍
We were just 18 and had only been married for six months when we lost our baby. I remember feeling completely heartbroken and wondering how we were ever going to move forward from something that hurt so deeply.
I’ll never forget that baby, and I never want to.
But God met us in that heartbreak. He gave us strength when we didn’t have it ourselves and carried us through some of the hardest seasons of our lives.
Our pregnancies that followed weren’t easy. They were challenging, scary, and filled with moments where fear crept in. But God gave us the strength to keep going, and He blessed us with three beautiful babies.
I am so incredibly thankful for my rainbow babies, but they will never erase the baby we lost. I can be grateful for the babies I have and still miss the one I don’t. Both can be true. 🤍
Looking back, I can see how God took a story that once felt so broken and brought redemption from it. That redemption is what inspired the name Redeemed Birth Co. It’s why this work is so deeply personal to me.
I’ll always carry my angel with me, and I’ll always be thankful for the way God carried us through that loss and brought us to where we are today. 🌈
If you’re remembering a baby this month, I see you. Your baby mattered. Your loss matters. And you are not forgotten. 🤍
