The embryo is the biggest factor in whether implantation succeeds, but even after transferring a euploid embryo, many other factors can influence the chances of pregnancy.
Some of these include:
β’ Endometrial receptivity: The uterine lining must be ready to receive the embryo during a short window of implantation.
β’ The immune system: Implantation requires a carefully balanced immune response. In some patients, abnormal immune function may interfere with implantation.
β’ Endometriosis and adenomyosis: These conditions can alter the uterine environment through inflammation, hormone signaling, and changes in uterine function.
