Celebrating Our Growth: Approved FPCTPs

In 2016, there were four approved Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs (FPCTPs). As of today, there is a grand total of 41 approved FPCTPs across the state. Over the past 10 years, we have seen tremendous growth in the number of programs offered, the number of students enrolled, completed and employed, the number of credentials offered, and more.

During the month of August, we want to take time to recognize how much growth we have seen as we prepare to start another academic year. We are excited to see what this year has in store for our students and programs!

One of the highlights of the Florida Postsecondary Education Program Planning Institute is our student panel. Our student panel features a student from a university, a state college and a technical college who has successfully completed their FPCTP and has gained employment in their community.

We are thankful to Luke King from UMatter, Fre'daysha Ladson from HIRE, and Daniel de Feria from STAR Academy for sharing their experiences in college at this year's FLPEPPI.
