Stiff back or tight shoulders? Your thoracic spine might need some attention! π
Wall Open Book Rotations β one of my favorite exercises for improving thoracic spine mobility!
βοΈ Improves thoracic spine rotation
βοΈ Helps open the chest and shoulders
βοΈ Helps relieve feelings of back stiffness
βοΈ Supports better posture and shoulder mobility
Your thoracic spine (upper and mid-back) plays an important role in how your back, shoulders, and upper body move.
When mobility in this area becomes limited, your shoulders and lower back may compensate, making everyday movements feel less comfortable.
This simple exercise encourages rotation through your thoracic spine while gently opening your chest and improving upper-body mobility.
Move slowly, keep your hips stable, and focus on rotating through your back without forcing the movement.
