At The CHC Alliance, we’re proud to stand with community health centers nationwide to raise awareness about the importance of routine vaccinations across all ages — especially in the communities that need them most. 💉💙

✔️ Over 91% of Community Health Centers offer immunization services, including for flu, COVID-19, HPV, and childhood vaccines.
✔️ CHCs serve over 30 million patients annually — many of whom are uninsured or underinsured.
✔️ More than 60% of CHC patients live at or below the federal poverty level — yet they still receive essential preventive care like vaccines.

Founder of the First FQHC in the U.S.
Dr. Jack Geiger pioneered the community health center model in the U.S., launching one of the first FQHCs in Mississippi in the 1960s. He believed healthcare should address social determinants of health, famously prescribing food to malnourished patients.

We support community health centers that provide critical maternal and child health services, ensuring families—regardless of income or location—have access to quality care from day one.
