Today is a special day at La Posada, as we recognize Lissencephaly Awareness Day. Young Yamilet's mom Jessica, who is in accounts payable department, let our office know that purple is the color for supporting the day. So a bunch of us in our administration office wore purple to show Yamilet that we support her and want to help spread the word about Lissencephaly.

A leadership team with a heart for senior living.

Our community’s legacy is built by the dedicated team working behind the scenes! Today, we’re introducing you to a few of the newest (yet familiar!) faces around the community.

Alexis Martinez was recently promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. She’s been a part of the La Posada team for more than 20 years, beginning her career as a receptionist for La Perla. She credits her growth to the mentorship and leadership opportunities found within the community.

Tim Carmichael is another familiar La Posada face we were thrilled to welcome back as our VP of Sales and Marketing. A key reason for his return is our organization’s resident-focused culture.
