☀Just in time for summer... be sure you're using a Vitamin C Serum! 🍊
SPF is your first line of defense against UV rays- but it only fully protects you for about 2 hours before it needs to be reapplied. This is where Vitamin C comes in as your backup plan. Think of it as extra insurance for your skin when reapplying isn't always happening as often as it should (because let's be honest, it isn't).
Vitamin C (specifically a medical grade, L-Ascorbic Acid) is a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radical damage from UV rays + pollution, supports collagen production, brightens complextion, and even lightens dark spots.
L-Ascorbic Acid is the gold standard form (and only form) that is biologically active- directly useable and absorbed the most without needing conversion.
