⚡ Laser, IPL and Electrolysis Are Not the Same
Each method approaches unwanted hair differently—and understanding those differences can help you choose the right treatment for your needs.
🔹 Laser uses a concentrated beam of light to target pigment in the hair. It is generally most effective when the hair contains darker pigment.
🔹 IPL uses broad-spectrum pulsed light. Although it is often grouped with laser treatments, IPL is not actually a laser. Like laser, it relies on pigment to target the hair.
🔹 Electrolysis treats each individual hair follicle with a fine probe and electrical current. Because it does not depend on pigment, it can permanently treat every hair color—including blond, red, gray and white—and is suitable for every skin tone.
Already had laser or IPL? Electrolysis is often an excellent finishing solution for light, resistant or remaining hairs that light-based treatments could not effectively target.
Every person’s hair growth pattern and treatment history are different, so there is no one-size-fits-all timeline. We’ll evaluate your needs and create a personalized treatment plan.
