At Americare, Wellness isn’t a program – it’s a way of life. Through Flourish Wellness, we create opportunities for residents to live with vitality, meaning, and personal fulfillment at every age and ability level.
Dimension of Wellness: [ intellectual, Social]
Activity: We had the absolute best time this week! Our residents filled the room with smiles and song as they enjoyed a wonderful live music performance by St. Croix. There was plenty of singing along, and everyone loved requesting their favorite tracks. It was the perfect blend of a relaxing afternoon and a lively party!
To top off a great week, our creative community got together for craft time to make these adorable, colorful jellyfish. Thank you to everyone who made this week so bright and fun!
Story. The lively atmosphere naturally shifted the room from a quiet space into a vibrant community. By actively shouting out requests and harmonizing, residents engaged in crucial social interaction, which directly combats the senior health risks of loneliness and depression. It gave everyone a shared sense of belonging and community. Later in the week, the jellyfish crafting activity served as the perfect balance to the high-energy music day. Working with glue, paper, and textures provided a soothing, meditative focus that gave residents a welcome escape from daily worries.

At Osage Nursing Center, our goal is to help every resident regain strength, confidence, and independence through personalized, compassionate care.

Recently, we celebrated two successful rehabilitation graduates who achieved their goals and returned home. These milestones reflect the dedication of our skilled nursing team, therapists, providers, and support staff who work together every day to create the best possible outcomes.

At Americare, we believe wellness is about more than recovery, it’s about helping each person flourish in mind, body, and spirit. Seeing our residents return home stronger and more confident is the greatest reward and the reason we remain committed to excellence in everything we do.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community 4th of July Celebration! We loved celebrating with our residents, families, friends, and neighbors.

This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate and recognize our amazing CNAs for the compassion, dedication, and care they provide to our residents every day.

One of our goals through Flourish Wellness is creating meaningful experiences and opportunities for residents and staff to connect, and this week was a perfect example of that. The smiles, laughter, and friendly competition made for unforgettable memories.

Picking flowers like hummingbird favorites shows thoughtful engagement with the surrounding natural ecosystem.
The hands-on, multi-step process of potting and arranging flowers exercises fine motor skills and encourages creativity
