What a beautiful day to enjoy the Mitchell County Fair with some pretty amazing people! ☀️

Then to top it off, PAPA’s BBQ spotted us at the Dairy Wagon and purchased malts for our entire crew!🍦As if that wasn’t enough, they sent us on our way with delicious BBQ pork sandwiches! WHAT!? Who does that!? 🤷‍♀️

We were feeling the love today and really appreciate the kindness shown to us! 🥰

Fair Time!!!

BE THE REASON SOMEONE SMILES TODAY

We are looking for volunteers to push residents in wheelchairs over to the fair on Friday, July 31st around 1:00 pm.

We walk through the buildings, we look at the petting zoo, sometimes we see one of the free shows going on.

This usually takes about 2 ½ to 3 hours.

😇 Update: I found out through the grapevine that I have a sweet co-worker to thank for the gift of flowers and kind words! I am blessed to work at FHAL with so many beautiful souls! Thank you, Sara!! 😜

There are moments that remind you just how powerful kindness can be. 🥰

Today was one of those moments. I received these gorgeous flowers at work, along with the kindest message. 💐
