As we wrap up summer and welcome the colors of fall, our floral arranging program is the perfect way to celebrate the changing seasons! 🌻🍁

This is always a much-loved program at Eagle Ridge, and we are so grateful for the wonderful community members who generously donate their time, talents, and materials to make it possible. Their kindness and genuine care for our residents shine through in every arrangement, and most importantly, in every smile they help create!💐😊

There’s something special about gathering around a table, getting creative, sharing stories, and bringing a little piece of nature indoors!

✨Shine: Where Community Comes Together!

Every year, we look forward to welcoming “Shine,” a wonderful volunteer-based program made up of local churches and community members. This special gathering brings generations together through music, storytelling, testimonies, prayer, devotionals, and meaningful opportunities to reminisce and reflect.

What makes Shine so special is its inclusivity and variety! There’s truly something for everyone! From familiar songs and cherished memories to heartfelt conversations and shared experiences, our residents are able to connect, participate, and enjoy the company of people of all ages!

💛 We are so grateful for the volunteers who make this program possible and for the joy, connection, and sense of community they bring to Eagle Ridge each year. Shine is a beautiful reminder that when generations come together, everyone has a story to share and something to learn from one another! 💛

🍦A little scoop of summer fun! ☀️

Our ice cream truck visit was full of sweet treats and big smiles! There’s something special about hearing the familiar sound of an ice cream truck that can take us right back to childhood! Bringing back treasured memories and joyful moments from years gone by.🍨

Our residents loved getting to place their own orders, choose their favorite treats, and enjoy their ice cream outdoors while soaking up the beautiful summer weather! It was the perfect recipe for a little sunshine, a lot of joy, and plenty of sweet reminiscing!🍦☀️🤍

Roasting up s’more fun!

Our annual S'mores Bar was once again a sweet success, giving residents the chance to build their own delicious creations with all kinds of fun and tasty toppings! From classic combinations to creative concoctions, there was something to satisfy every sweet tooth!

They say the best things in life are sweet, and we'd have to agree! Sharing and enjoying one of summer's most beloved treats made for an afternoon that was simply the icing on the cake (or should we say, the marshmallow on the graham cracker?)

There's nothing quite like a beautiful summer day spent in the park!🌳☀️

Our annual Picnic in the Park is always one of our favorite summer traditions, and this year was no exception! We spent the morning and early afternoon enjoying the fresh air, sharing plenty of laughs and great conversation, and savoring a delicious BBQ lunch together.

Of course, no picnic would be complete without our annual walk through the park! Residents enjoyed taking in the beautiful scenery, admiring the lush landscape, and appreciating the incredible natural beauty that's right here in our own backyard!

☀️🍔 Nothing says summer quite like our Annual Summer BBQ! 🌽🍋

One of the biggest and most anticipated events of the year, our Annual Summer BBQ once again brought together an incredible crowd of residents, families, friends, staff, and members of our community for an afternoon filled with delicious food, heart warming laughter, and boisterous conversation!

From tender pulled pork and juicy lollipop chicken to homemade baked beans, fresh salads, refreshing lemonade, and all the classic summer favorites (plus a few sweet treats!), there was something for everyone to enjoy! More than just a meal, it was an opportunity to gather around the table, catch up with familiar faces, make new friends, and celebrate everything that makes our Eagle Ridge family so special!

Events like these simply wouldn't be possible without the amazing dedication of our kitchen team. Behind every delicious plate were countless hours of planning, preparation, cooking, and serving. Their hard work, attention to detail, and genuine care for our residents and guests helped make this year's BBQ another unforgettable success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so memorable. Seeing our dining room and building filled to the brim with laughter, smiling faces, and our loving community is exactly what events like this are all about!

❤️Red, white, and blue never looked so fun!💙

Our Fourth of July Social was filled with some of the many things that makes this holiday so special!

Residents enjoyed an afternoon of interactive Fourth of July-themed games that had everyone smiling, cheering one another on, and sharing lots of laughs. The room was full of conversation as friends gathered together to celebrate, reminisce about favorite Independence Day traditions, and engage in some festive brain games.

There is something truly special about celebrating holidays together as a community. We are so grateful for another fun-filled celebration and hope everyone had a safe, fun, and joyful Independence Day!🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
