"A lesson I’ve learned and now live by working in health care and memory care is: compassion! Compassion in memory care is not about fixing what the person’s forgotten, but honoring and respecting what still remains. The humanity, their hearts, and the connection still lives within. When memories fade; kindness and love are still felt and understood. A gentle voice and a patient heart can reach places memory no longer can.
