"I'm deeply saddened that my very dear family friend, Edward Close, passed away from a massive stroke Friday evening 😢 He was 89 years old! He was my dad's best friend since college when they were roommates and he was also the Best Man at Mom's and Dad's wedding. He's been a very close friend of our family all of our years, celebrating many holidays together. He was a brilliant man, having written several books, including Transcendental Physics, Nature's Mold RX, and Secrets of the Sacred Cube, A Cosmic Love Story, which was the last book him and his wife, Jacqui who passed in 2018, wrote together and it's a book about Rubic's Cube and Ed and Jacqui's Cosmic Love Story. My heart is broken because I had just spoken with him a few days before he passed and he was excited that he had just spoken at a Young Living event about his travels with Gary Young and he was telling me how much stronger he felt and that he had never felt better. His son Josh has organized a visitation Monday November 3rd from 1-3 pm, at Fox Funeral Home in Licking, MO. Please pray for his son, Joshua as, he's really struggling now..."

What’s in my mind?? Shock and disappointment

Small Business Owners: There are a lot changes effective February 21, 2025. The Small Business Association of Michigan has a lot of good information on this. Tomorrow at 8:30 they are doing a webinar. The changes are an increase to the Minimum Wage to approximately $12.50/hour. The elimination of Tip Wages. The first increase will be to approximately $6.00/hour,. Eventually tip wages will equal minimum wage. There is also a requirement that every business in Michigan will provide Paid Sick Leave. For employers with 1 to 9 employees, you must provide 40 hours of paid sick leave and 32 hours of unpaid sick leave. For employers with 10 or more employees, you must provide 72 hours of paid sick leave. This starts accruing on February 21, 2025. Employees may take 3 days sick time WITHOUT notifying you. So they can NO SHOW, NO CALL for 3 days. These changes will take place unless the Legislature can do something about it. Governor Whitmer is also trying to pass another Paid Family Leave where you can take 15 weeks off with pay. This program will be administered by the State. Employers will pay part of this and Employees will also pay into it and it looks like the State will pay the rest.

Update on inactive account clean-up process from Corporate:

We will be doing a clean up on April 15th of 89,000 Brand Partners in the US. These are US BPs with no downline, have not earned any commissions or bonuses in 12+ months, have not ordered in 12+ months (many are 24+ months).

We have sent various reactivation targeted emails/offers to this group over the last year, and this is the group who have remained inactive.

We will be removing them from your organization on April 15th at 12:01 MST.

When any of these people reactivate thereafter, the following will occur:

1- the enroller/sponsor will be pre-populated with the previous enroller/sponsor. Both fields will be editable.

2-if the previous enroller is deactivated, but the sponsor is active, both enroller and sponsor fields will be pre-populated with the previous sponsor ID

3- If the enroller is active, but sponsor is deactivated, the sponsor field will be pre-populated with the next sponsor in the sponsor path

4- if the sponsor and enroller fields are intentionally left blank by the person who is reactivating, they will get a pop-up asking them to confirm they'd like to go to the placement program. Upon confirmation, that is where they will go.

If you want to message any of your downline BPs prior to April 15, you can run a report in the VO for any BPs who have not ordered in 12 or more months.
