Clean Up Wisconsin

Clean Up Wisconsin Cleaning up Wisconsins' garbage, along with promoting healthy mind and body through social media.

My name is Joshua and I want to spend as much time as I can cleaning up Wisconsins trash, inspiring people to be more self reliant and motivated to keep Wisconsin beautiful. So I started a fundraiser and here is the description of my mission statement...

It all started 2 years ago when I started picking up trash/recycling along side my parents road in the summer. The following year I went part ti

me and found myself a lot more free time to pick up garbage. I would like to find myself doing this full time, all across Wisconsin, starting with Winnebago county. The first wave of funds raised with be to support my costs while cleaning up garbage day to day. With more funding I'm hoping to be able to hire extra help, especially from the homeless and disadvantaged. If I end up acquiring even more funding I would like to start all sorts of projects across Wisconsin. From buying old farms and keeping them as public wildlife preserves, to helping farmers go green, also investing in environmentally sustainable energy. If you have any places of interest you want to see cleaned up post in the comments sections on specified posts.

It’s Autumn and as always, keep recycling. Here is a reminder as to what is acceptable.

🍂 Fall is in the air, and so are millions of wings. 🐦

Fall bird migration is underway! Some birds began their journey as early as June. Now, everyone is getting the travel itch. Be on the lookout for the feathered visitors taking a quick rest stop on their epic journey.

National parks, public lands, and urban green spaces are important resting spots for these migratory birds. Sadly, many won’t survive as collisions with glass kill more than one billion birds in the U.S. each year.

You can make a difference!

💡 Dim non-essential lights at night (11 pm – 6 am)

🪟 Treat windows by day with bird-friendly, properly spaced, patterns.

These simple steps save lives, cut energy use, and create healthier nights for both birds and people. Learn more ➡️ bit.ly/stopbirdcollisions
