We’re so proud to see one of our own, Ella, turn a simple moment of curiosity into something so meaningful. Creating spaces for connection like this is what it’s all about! 💚

UW-Oshkosh senior Ella Diny noticed something simple while working at the Evergreen Retirement Community. Residents were curious about students, and students had so much to learn from them.

So she built a bridge.

Through the Elder Engagement Club, Ella created opportunities for students and local seniors to sit together, share stories, ask questions and find common ground. This year, the club hosted dinners at Evergreen and helped bring students and residents together through an art show featuring work from both communities.

What started with a simple question became a table full of stories, connection and care.

CNA Week! 💚

The appreciation continues as we recognize the incredible impact our CNAs make every single day. This week is extra special as we celebrate our incredible CNAs—and a truly inspiring milestone. 🎉

One of our very first CNA class graduates, Julia, began her journey right here at Evergreen, working as a CNA while going to school—and now she’s officially a nurse! 🌟

Her dedication, hard work, and passion for caring for others truly shine. We couldn’t be more proud to have been part of her journey.
