Great start to the weekend!

My athletes crushed it racing Hyannis 1 and the Patriot Half triathlons this morning 🙌🏼🏊🏼🚴🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

And I got out for a lovely 20 mile bike ride with the WE CAN Second Summer Cycle team 😎

What could be better?!

🤔 Wondering where I’ve been this past week?

I’m sure fellow small business owners will agree, there is never a dull moment when you run your own business however this was a little more than I would expect…

A car crashed into the studio wall over the weekend! Thankfully, no one was in the studio and no one was hurt. But it did create quite a mess!

I have resumed seeing PT clients and performing bike fits and hope to resume small group training classes next week.

Hoping for an uneventful weekend! 🤞

“Beginning physical therapy with Stephanie at Cape Cod Be Fit is the single best decision I’ve ever made for my health.

After injuring both shoulders in separate accidents as a high schooler, I had done absolutely nothing to treat the injuries over the last fifteen years. Working with Stephanie was the first positive step I’ve taken toward repairing my arms and the resulting damage done to my back from how I’ve made my body compensate over the years.

Stephanie’s impact was immediate. Two orthopedic surgeons had declared that I needed surgery, and I had a surgery date scheduled for a month after my first session with Stephanie. I could tell right away that we were going to find a way to avoid surgery, and I canceled the surgery after my first session.

Over the next six months, Stephanie developed a therapy and training program for me that has dramatically reduced my pain and increased my mobility and stability. Having spent half my life with such decreased strength in my shoulders and back, I truly didn’t know I could move the way I can now.

It was a pleasure to host the Second Summer Cycle WE CAN team last week for a workshop covering the “ABC’s” of safe cycling, posture and positioning and so much more!

I am proud to be a member of the WE CAN team for my 6th year! Together, we raise funds to support the incredibly important programming WE CAN offers to support women on the Cape.

Starting over is harder than I thought. My “to-do” list is endless and it is easy to get buried in tasks that take away from my workout time. I keep meaning to do longer workouts — but life has been giving me 10‑minute windows.

So I show up for those 10 minutes even though my mind is telling me countless other things I could be doing instead.
Today’s treadmill walk/jog = progress.

Micro wins: showed up, finished 10 min, felt better.
